The International Usability & User Experience Qualification Board (UXQB) publishes curricula for usability and user experience professionals as the basis for the professional certification “Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience (CPUX)”. The content of CPUX curricula is driven by consensus reached by an International team of experienced professionals in the field. Every professional organization for usability and UX in every country is invited to participate in the UXQB and actively further develop the CPUX certification program. CPUX curricula are public and free of cost. Certification tests are transparent and carefully designed to approve knowledge and skills relevant for professional work in industry. The UXQB maintains a network of independent training providers who teach the CPUX curricula. Certification bodies who are independent of the training providers perform the certification examinations. The UXQB provides the infrastructure for professional certification, but does neither perform trainings nor certification examinations.
